Earlier this week, news making rounds had it that the Nigerian Police have arrested a billionaire kidnapper, Evans, who have been on the run since 2013 when he was declared wanted. He was said to be behind most kidnap of notable and wealthy Nigerians over the years. He once has a team he worked with but on the long run, they all died during a failed kidnap attempt on the owner of Young Shall Grow motors, Chief Vincent Obianudo which was foiled by the Policeman attached to him.

However, after this, Evans formed a new group of kidnappers and it’s so funny that a couple are also part of this new team arrested on Saturday, 10th of June, 2017.

The man, Uchechukwu Amadi is a long time Evans boy and also doubles as the head of detention camp in Igando. In an Interview with Saharaweekly Osho Oluwatosin, he revealed that he has known Evans for five years and he knew him as the owner of a Pure water company, he was always bringing water for him to help him sell in Port-Harcourt. Speaking on how he relocated to Lagos to work for Evans, he said Evans only gave him a call to relocate to Lagos so they can work together and since then has joined the crew. He also made it known that the last victim who escaped was in his detention and was shocked when he escaped. Shockingly, he denied ever making money from kidnapping or working with Evans.

His wife, Ogechi Amadi, on the other side was during the course of this interview crying and praying to God to save her from the predicament. While speaking Saharaweekly’s Osho Oluwatosin, she said she knows nothing about it and that she’s not the one that cooks for Evans. She also said she has never been to Lagos all of life and the arrest was only a case of mistaken identity.

I don't know why criminals always denied fact and figures that was obvious before them..with their contradictory statement .. You're surprised on how the victim escaped from your detention camp and still went ahead to tell us you're not making money from the kidnapping lucrative business.. So you're doing it for free..
