I have an acer aspire one 8gb ssd model of laptop and one day it refused to boot even though the power indicator shows the system is powdered on. So i suspected the ram, i tried to open the system to find out exactly the kind of ram it uses only to find out it has no hard disk and no ram i also found out is has a ram slot though. I surfed for info about it and discovered it has an integrated ram on its board but due to the anticipation of failure, a ram slot was provided. I am trying to upgrade this machine cos i love it for its size and portability. So who has dealt with this before and how did you go about it?

All i've been able to dig out is that it's a bios problem, acer recommended i should flash the bios with a bios flashing driver which i've tried severally but to no avail. I followed every instruction as described but i cant seem to find a solution to this common problem. I was hoping someone has gone through this before and could help me with a working solution. I really love my machine.

so have you got a solution? iv had same problem since january. just dug d netbook outta ma drawer to see if i can fix it now
