lordkit2:These ones only go to church just to let their neighbors know they went to church, not for impartation of any kind. they go back home the same way they went. and again no reverence to God they are gods of themselves. pity. It was hard for me yesterday getting some two persons (not guys) cos they are not even of age yet, to leave their phones and listen to the sermon, so annoying sometimes the attachment people have with their phones like we were born with them. Obviously he was forced to come by his wife or someone. Then the pastor started shouting about tithe, reminding him why he never wanted to come in the first place. |

Many do this out of boredom. Maybe, the pastor was boring. My guess. |

Usually happens when the pastor is only preaching wealth and prosperity. And switches to the importance of tithes ....... |

Many people go to church to avoid neighbours, friends and others asking the questions, " why did you not go to church?", "Are you no longer a christian?", " Don't you think you are sinning for failing to go to church?" Etc etc etc The most annoying hypocrisy among some traders is locking up their shops only to remain at home to watch films or even go to play football. In short, many go to church to please people not God. While some lock up shops on Sundays just for solidarity sake. Hmm. So sad. 1 Like |
