Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) don fix Saturday, July 1 to take conduct supplementary Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for 85,000 candidates.

The board Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, announce the date inside the statement wey em issue on Tuesday for Abuja.



As he take talk, dem go spread the examination, wey be sey na for people wey register late and the people with related issues, across some Computer Based Testing (CBT) centres.

Benjamin say,

“Following an enlarged management meeting of the JAMB, the supplementary 2017 UTME has been fixed to hold on Saturday, July 1.
“No fewer than 85,000 candidates are scheduled to write the examination.

“Affected candidates have been notified through text messages.

“By this notice, they are advised to check their e-mail and profile for the schedule of their examination or visit the board’s website for their status,’’

As he take talk, dem go soon tell dem condidates to print their e-slip for details like date, venue and time of the exam.

The board kon note say dem no go communicate with candidates wey dem no list for the supplementary, and the people wey dem withhold their result go show for their profiles, wey dem don already update.

The board kon advise the candidates make dem behave themselves to take avoid wetin make dem cancel their exam before.

“Many of the candidates rescheduled for this examination enjoy this privilege because of the board’s principles of equality and inclusiveness.

“It is better to let 100 offenders go free than to punish one innocent person.

“The board will enhance its monitoring of the examination as it would not compromise its sanctity.”
