As Abuja celebrated the World Environment Day 2017, the biggest annual event for environment action, the TREE called DOXA was planted in Abuja.. This history was made at an event organized by the department of Recreation and Parks of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja in collaboration with DOXA DIGITAL Nigeria all in the spirit of Coperate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The event was attended by top functionaries in the agency including the Managing Director of DOXA DIGITAL, Mrs Dayo Benjamins Laniyi DBL..
The theme of this year's celebration was "connecting people to nature" and it was a call for people of the world to reconnect with nature by placing better value on their immediate surroundings..

World Environment Day is celebrated on 5th June of every year. it was inaugurated in the year 1972.
