Today June 20 2017 one plus has released its fifth smartphone after three years of operation.
The one plus 5 succeed's the one plus 3T which was released about six months ago.
Though the one plus 5 is about a $100 dollar higher than it's predecessor the one plus 3T, it still an awsome budget phone owing to the fact that it features 2017 hardware specification's with a price tag $300 less than most flagship's.
Below is a quick scan of the one plus 5;
The one plus 5 still features the all anodized aluminum metal design featured on the one plus 3 and 3T, with limited colour variants.
The one plus 5 is available in deep black and dark grey.

The one plus 5 with a front view still resembles the one plus 3 and 3T.
Up front we have it's 5.5inch display.
The 5.5 inch display is an amoled display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
Considering the quad HD displays 2017 contenders of the one plus 5 features, its 1080p screen may not be considered as flagship.

This is actually one of the factors that facilitates its budget price. But the absence of a quad HD display panel may actually facilitate an increased battery life.
below it's display is it's home button which doubles as a finger print reader guarded by its two nav keys .

The bottom I/0 looks similar to the one on the one plus 3T.
On the bottom there is a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB type-c port, a speaker port and a microphone Port.

When we flip the one plus 5 over to the back, we discover an entirely new design.
The one plus 5 with a back view doesn't just feature a new design but looks very similar to the iPhone 7 plus.

The camera department on both variants features;
On the rear dual camera system a 16mp primary camera with an aparture of F/1.7 , Electronic image stabilization.
The secondary camera on the rear is a 20MP camera F/2.6 and a telephoto lens with 2X zoom.
The rear cameras can record 4K video and you could actually switch between cameras when recording a video.
So basically the dual camera setup on the iPhone 7 is the same as the one on the one plus 5.
The problem with this dual camera system on the one plus 5 is the fact that it doesn't function well on low light and the secondary camera on the dual camera setup doesn't feature electronic image stabilization or optical image stabilization.
The front facing shooter on this smartphone features a 16mp camera with Sony X 350 built it.
The rear dual cameras also features IMX 371 sensor.
