Argentina and Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi clocks 30 today, June 24, the five times World Footballer of the Year has broken virtually all individual records and has won several trophies at his club.

He has an Olympic Gold medal which he won at the Beijing 2008 Olympics with Argentina.

Below are 30 facts about the maestro born June 24, 1987.

1.) First senior goal – on 1 May 2005 – came for Barcelona as a late substitute in a Liga game against
