I don't get why this is confusing you guys.
1. first of all he stole #100 there and then the shop owner lost #100
2. He returned back to the shop to use the same #100 he stole to buy something that worth #100, Don't forget another customer might buy the same bread and Fanta with #100 but hence the thief boy is the one paying from his stolen money, he recycled same money he stole and gets a goods worth #100 making it #200
so. imagine he bought those things on credit for #100, then stole the money #100 from the shop owner and pays it is still #200. simply mathematics
