Henry Onyekuru has signed a five-year contract with Premier League side Everton, following what has been a sensational transfer window for the striker.
A source close to the youngster, who dazzled with Belgian team KAS Eupen last season, told ScoreNigeria.com.ng Onyekuru has signed the dotted lines today in England after a successful medical.
“Henry has a five-year deal with Everton after passing medical,” the source informed only SCORENigeria
“He is so excited to make this decision. The Premier League is the league on his mind to play in and here he is with Everton.”
The source further informed: “He will go on a season’s loan to Anderlecht before he returns to Everton.”
That means he will feature in the UEFA Champions League with the Belgian champions.
Onyekuru, 20, netted 24 goals last season for KAS Eupen which prompted a rash of clubs including Arsenal, Swansea, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bournemouth, Schalke 04, Borussia Dortmund, West Ham, Nice and PSG to show interest in signing him.
