if you are like me, you have some addiction you struggle with and keep going back to them, the relapse is sometimes worst because it seems like you want to catch up the days you did not indulge. These are tips that can help.

1. Reduce contact with people that encourage you to indulge, also avoid places that encourage you to indulge. eg if addicted to porn, try to be around people a lot more and not in secluded places, if it is beer, try to avoid beer parlous.

2. Start giving thanks for overcoming the habit and stop complaining about it. When the feeling comes, be sure to always speak to yourself in present tense even if you must indulge, E.g if addicted to pizza, you can say "you can say pizza, i am free from you"

3. Get another a positive habit. Everything can be a habit if it is done long enough

4. Make plans without the addiction in the picture, see yourself as free as often as you can. Your mind will play ping pong on this one but just try to thing intentionally and not what your mind suggest.

5. Pray about it.
