The University of Lagos on Friday, 30th June was taken by a storm as it was the show day for 'The Event'.
'The Event' which was a music, comedy and drama show had contracted the IG comedy sensation; Woli Arole to headline the comedy performance for the day.
However, hours into the show, security operatives showed up at the University's main auditorium and ordered that the event be stopped and asked everyone to leave the venue with immediacy.

The most known reason for this is not far fetched as earlier in April, Woli Arole had granted a Kraks TV interview where he stated confidently that Unilag is the university where 'the cheapest girls' are found. He said in the interview that 'Part Three of Law' is where anyone can get cheap girls. Adding that with just puff-puff and egg buns, you get the girls straight up. To buttress his utterance, he claimed that with just suya, you get year four microbiology girls with no stress.
It is worthy to note also that the Comedian had been taking trolls against the Akokites after he posted some IG videos where he with some OAU students blasted Unilag for not having a school anthem. As if that wasn't enough, he had called out all Unilag Alumni that are IG celebs to see a video of a man with bad usage of the English Language who claimed to have graduated from UNILAG. The hashtag #woliaroleuniversitychallenge on IG has all these posts.

As gathered, The University of First Choice Law students were displeased with his act of defamation which is a serious offence under the Laws of Nigeria and thus, took steps to ensure that the IG comedian doesn't perform in the school he had always condemned.

Some attendees of the event were however displeased as most of them came to see Woli Arole perform. But this goes with the known proverb that 'you cannot expect to eat from a friend whose parents you called wretched'.

All universities get their own with girls, it's just as simple as that.

But he said it as a joke and shouldn't be held responsible. it's for entertainment sake Na!! it's like being under the influence of alcohol lol
