IT WAS AN EMBARRASSING COLLAPSE FOR KENYA’S RULING PARTY AS $12 MILLION CHINESE-BUILT SIGIRI BRIDGE COLLAPSED BEFORE IT WAS COMPLETED. It was gathered that the president of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta inspected the uncompleted project two weeks before the collapse. The bridge connects a region that lacks government development and investment. The brigde was built by the Chinese Overseas Constrution and engineering company in Busia County.
