Ghana’s capital, Accra is a lively and vibrant city. With excellent beaches, nightlife, colorful markets and inspirational art galleries there is plenty to see and do to suit everyone’s tastes. Across Africa, Ghanians are known for their hospitality and warmth.

Kenya’s capital, Nairobi also shouts its beauty in extremely evident elegance, from the natural wildlife habitats to the salient skyscrapers. The capital city offers many great times to its visitors and residents.

Aside from the rapid development and transformation taking over these two cities, they also both stand as places residents and foreigners troop to explore when they get a change.

Here is a list of seven fun places in Accra and Kenya.
Labadi Beach, Accra

Labadi Beach or more properly known as La Pleasure Beach is the busiest beach on Ghana’s coast. It is one of Accra’s beautiful beaches and is maintained by the local hotels. Labadi Beach is near Teshie in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. On holidays and weekends there are often performances of reggae, hiplife, Playback, and cultural drumming and dancing.
Uhuru Park, Kenya

Uhuru Park is a 12.9 hectare recreational park adjacent to the central business district of Nairobi, Kenya. It was opened to the general public by the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta on 23 May 1969. It contains an artificial lake, several national monuments, and an assembly ground which has become a popular skateboarding spot on weekends, catering to Nairobi’s growing skate scene. It offers a wide range of fun and exciting activities such as boat riding on the lake, camel riding, and picnic with friends and family.
Makola Market, Accra

Makola Market is a renowned market place and shopping district in the centre of the city of Accra, the capital of Ghana. One can find a wide array of products being sold in the markets and its surrounding streets, from car parts to land snails. Although, Makola market is fantastically hectic, the scenery is a sight to behold.
Jeevanjee Gardens, Nairobi

Jeevanjee Gardens is an open garden in the Central Business District of Nairobi, Kenya. Jeevanjee Gardens was founded by A.M. Jeevanjee, an Asian-born entrepreneur in Kenya.[1] It is the only park in the city that is directly owned by the people, having been donated to the poor people of Nairobi as a resting area. Jeevanjee Gardens is a serene and relaxing place to be. The recreation garden is sprinkled with impressive sculptures, leafy and shady trees, and arty benches.
