Dailymail is announcing that a popular night club bouncer who was twice saved from being extradited from Britain back to Nigeria has been imprisoned for assaulting a lady in her own particular home - months after judges enabled him to remain in the nation.

Idreez Popoola, 34, ought to have been ousted in 2006 after his brief UK visa terminated yet he was permitted to keep living and working in Britain.


In June 27 he was arrested and was told he would have to return to his native Nigeria but he successfully appealed the ruling.
Judges granted the nightclub bouncer temporary leave to stay in because he had a wife and child.
Few weeks ago it was reported that he and his friends attacked and raped a woman in her own home.

Popoola was jailed for seven years at Northampton Crown Court after he was found guilty of rape following a four day trial.

Sentencing, Judge Lynn Tayton told him: 'It was a serious aggravating factor that the rape took place in the victim’s own home as this was an abuse of the trust placed in you by the victim and has undermined her feelings of safety in her own space.'

He was also ordered to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for life.
Judge Tayton also told him he would be automatically deported back to Nigeria on his release from prison.


What a life!..is sex so hard to get that men rape women?
Nigeria should have a sex offenders list as well and jail these men...Jail them because rape cases is an everyday thing in Nigeria....heck even chicken and goats are raped in Naija!
