Most of the time, scratch that, like all the time we depend solely on certain medications to ease the pain, we take painkillers to combat migraine, stomach ache or sore muscles. What we are ignorant of is the side effects that come with the continued use of these so-called painkillers, there's also the chance of getting hooked to pain relief meds and popping them like candies each time, which is very risky for one's health. Why use these chemical-laden drugs when there are natural painkillers just within your reach.

Ginger for aching muscles
A teaspoon of ginger juice is three times more effective and potent than any drug! Ginger is quite effective in reducing muscle and joint pain, just take a teaspoon of ginger juice daily to reduce or prevent pain.

Garlic for ear pain
Reach for some drops of garlic oil when your little one is hurting in the ear. Garlic is rich in powerful active compounds which are quite effective in destroying bacteria and pain in the ear. Heat half a teaspoon of olive oil and 2-3 cloves of garlic for three minutes to get your garlic oil.

Cherries for headache and joint pain
A bowl of Cherries will do the trick! Recent studies on this subject have suggested that Cherries are more effective than a dose of ibuprofen or aspirin in treating headache and joint pain.

Mint for sore muscles
To ease your sore muscles, give your body a good soak in bath water mixed with 10 drops of mint oil. This therapy is quite effective in easing and relaxing all your body muscles.
