Okorocha Has Made Imo The Hub Of Entertainment In Africa – Conac by jpmorganxx: 11:12am On Jul 16, 2017
The Chairman of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Imo state chapter, Umez Chibueze Nnanna otherwise known as Conac has lauded the interventional support of the governor of the State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha through the growth of entertainment in Imo.
He made this statement of appreciation at one of the entertainment centers built by the governor, known as Bongo Center.

A veteran screen actor in the Nollywood industry, Conac went down memory lane to explain how difficult it used to be for entertainers in the State before the emergence of Governor Okorocha who came and relieved them of all the stress of being an entertainer.

“First, the governor came and united all of us. He brought peace when he made it possible for the entertainers to elect their executives. He stood and monitored the electoral process till it became free and fair.

“After that, he gave us equipped offices. As if that wasn’t enough, he gave us a brand new air condition Coaster Bus. So far, there is no entertainer in the State that will not testify independently how accessible the people in government is to him or her, both in getting financial support and otherwise,” he said.

However, not just that the governor supports them, Conac pointed out that he happens to be the only governor in the history of the State who genuinely offered support to Imo entertainers with zero intention for political campaign purposes.
Hence the support so far, Umez Chibueze Nnanna, popularly known by his screen name as Conac stressed that the completion of a film village in the State by the governor will boost the growth of entertainment in Imo, even as he said that it has already become the hub of entertainment in Africa.
