No one changes, you are born in a particular way and you die same way, if you mistakenly marry a violent man or woman run for your dear life, people only change characters they pick from environment or peer influence (e.g drinking, smoking, etc) but violence is mostly in gene.

This man is a beast and coward. My father taught me never to hit a woman. Yo can get mad, leave the house or punish her in other ways. Don't hit a woman. If his leg is battered with a wheel spanner how would he feel? The woman was right to want to divorce a man that has the ability to do this. We should think of the consequences of our actions before we act.

The letter from the embassy was just political correct telling him he can apply in the future. He'll never get a visa out of Lagos again not even if he married obamas daughter.

He's facing an automatic 10 year ban first for abusing his b1 visa and the dv conviction will net him inadmissible without a waiver which is hard to get even in developed countries.

Whoever wrote to the embassy sealed his faith tightly. They knew how to work the system.
