She is the one that looked for their trouble Why did she kill her husband. As if that was not enough, she buried him without the family's consent. It is biblical "He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him." Ecc 10:8 |

This is a very common tradition in almost all areas of Nigeria, a successful man dies and the relatives (usually one ragamuffin uncle whom he's not on good terms with) starts maltreating and harassing the family just to lay his hands on the property. This is why I want to have children early and empower them and my wife financially and with good education so that when I die, no cursed son of a thousand demons can dictate what happens to them. |

Its important that all men and women leave a will, so their children don't suffer. That close brother may frustrate your family once death comes. |

This report is very biased, just filled with sentiments. Most times, if a man dies, his wife will turn to tiger and brought up sentiments. Burial arrangement is not the sole decision of the wife. It is a collective decision of the wife and umunna. Dailytrust did a junk report on this case. Where is the man from, because I know very much of the customs of the town where hospital is situated and they can never maltreat a widow unless the man's siblings suspects foul play. This woman is not telling the truth of the matter. For people who doesn't know, in igboland, umunna owns u and you also own umunna. If umunna suspects foul play, they have every right to demand for an autopsy. Moreover, when a man dies, umunna will ask the first son or the wife if the first son is still young , to give account of the man's death, if they were not involved when he was sick. You can't call people that their son died mysteriously and expect them to bury him like fowl and without asking questions. Don't bring sentiments here plz. 1 Like |

wailersarefools:Lol. "Almost all" is not the same as "all." But it's more widespread than you think. The Edos, Deltans, Yorubas, Igbos, and some parts of the middle belt all practice it. |
