Good day everyone, today I am going to teach you all how make my shea butter mix, this mix I use for all my DIYs and I also use when styling my hair to seal in moisture (A styling series coming soon), I also use this just as a hair moisturizer on its own. This also comes in very handy during wash days (wash day routine coming soon).

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Raw shea butter (you should be able to get this from a number of markets in Nigeria)

Essential oils (optional), I use lemon essential oil and grapefruit essential oil

Glycerin (this is not optional as it is a humectant and attracts moisture to the hair)

Olive oil (or any other liquid carrier oil you have like coconut oil, avocado oil etc)


HOW TO PREPARE

Firstly, melt the sheabutter by putting it over boiling water, To ever table spoon of sheabutter add Secondly add a table spoon on glycerin

Thirdly add a teaspoon of olive oil

Also add 6 drops of essential oil

Finally,

put your mixture in a container and put in the freezer for about 3 hoursLike I said this shea butter mix acts as a good moisture sealant and also a good hair moisturizer on its own, it really does make my hair super soft..

I'm shy to comment Have been on nairaland since 2012 but this is my first time on FTC anyways.. That is too rumassy and dramatrox. How can you homoglobe a braminis in a gremesimical manner of this type without considering the veribound and the jigun-laguns? I can categorically zecresse and progmatidolibrate to every fremmissy occupying this fallatose that, this is nothing but an erravication of a mere catomisimism. What do u all think?

Op can u just use shea butter .I.e. ORI? Or do u have to buy the raw one & secondly. When u say it smoothens the hair texture, do u mean like how texturizer or relaxer changes the hair texture but of course as we all know damages it in the process of so doing. Can this mix change ur hair texture. I.e. Coarse to straight, medium to fine etc?

shea butter helps soften hair and make it manageable. it DOESN'T change the texture of your hair. it also aids in the overall health of your hair
