So who did NYSC post then? It seems the scheme does not even know a thing about its Corp members.

He was obviously not fired. It seems he got tired of the job or perhaps, found a better offer.

Reminds me of FBI agents who joined the agency with great enthusiasm, only to given a desk and paper filing roles.

Three things are possibly involved here:

1- he resigned

2- his contract has ended and he chose not to renew it.

3- He has been promoted in rank and no longer needs to handle their social media account.
