Real Madrid Still Have A Fight On Their Hands To Sign Kylian Mbappe Despite Reportedly Agreeing A Fee with Monaco, With Two More Clubs Ready To Match Their €180 Million (£161m) Offer.

According to reports in Spain, Real have finally found a price at which Monaco are prepared to do business, agreeing to pay £143m up front and £18m in additional clauses and add-ons.

Mbappe has been offered a six-year contract worth £120,000-a-week by the Spanish champions, though that alone will not be enough to seal a deal.

Mbappe has returned to pre-season training with Monaco.

The Daily Record say both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to make their own world record bids of £161m to try and tempt the teenager, with each club’s respective manager holding the key to persuading him.

Mbappe is seeking assurances over his first-team role and does not want to be a mere backup option in a World Cup year, with game time needed to secure a starting role in Didier Deschamps’ FranceXI.
