What do you mean by "autocad no longer valid"?

Not needed...most of your 2d plans and annotations can be done with an alternative that's better and faster.... There are other competitors coming up with something better and more efficient in the industry today

ok. I'm in d construction sector and very very good with technical drawing. I use revit now but before now there was autocad. When it comes to detailing and accuracy especially on 2d, I don't think any of these softwares would stand a chance against autocad. take for instance, drawing a car with all those different radii in form of fillets. in that area sir and anything like that, Autocad kills, hands down. Yes, archicad and revit may be very gud in d 3D areas but dat don't mean autocad can't hold its own there as well. or lemme say, 3D is easier with those other apps than with Cad. It's like comparing inclone to C4D or Blender. AutoCad sir, is not outdated. Ppl are just too scared to use it. And what kind of engr is anyone that can't use CAD?

not all countries use cad....the've got theirs...dont misunderstand me....autodesk is good at buying up companies who compete with them...

in the IT world,the shift is progressive...nasty updates are coming up daily not even weekly anymore... try to attend international bootcamps related to the AEC... you'll understand

Now this, is a completely different story. Still, I don't think there isn't a country dat don't use CAD. Tell me, certain coys have chosen and adapted themselves to a particular software and I'll understand. We do it here too. Not dat one country don't use CAD.
