Leo Messi Hits Instagram To Say Goodbye To Neymar.


As it stands, Neymar has asked to leave Barcelona and the Catalan giants are waiting for PSG to pay the 222 million euro release clause.


According to Wagner Ribeiro, Neymar’s agent,this payment is expected to be made at some point on Wednesday.


Neymar will likely be unveiled at PSG by the end of the week, perhaps as early as Friday.

Meanwhile, Leo Messi has confirmed Neymar’s departure with a classy message onInstagram.



Messi uploaded a video which features a number of pictures of the pair together, the majority of them are celebrating goals together.


The Argentine superstar writes: “It was a huge pleasure to have shared all these years with you friend. I wish you good luck in this new stage of your life. See you tkm.”


Messi wrote “nos vemos tkm” at the very end of the message, which translates to: “we’ll see each other I love you a lot”.


A significant social media update?


Some have already suggested that Messi has let the cat out the bag regarding Neymar’s move to PSG, but that seems unlikely considering the day’s events.


It has to be significant though that Messi has come out before the PSG deal is done, to thank Neymar and wish him luck.


Throughout this transfer saga, Neymar’s reason for leaving Barcelona for PSG has been put down to the fact that the Brazilian is caught in the Argentine’s shadow at the Camp Nou.


Whilst they do genuinely seem to be friends, itdoes appear that Neymar’s desire to leave Barcelona was partly due to the fact that he could never Be a leader at the La Liga giants.
