The catholic priest Rev. Fr. Patrick Henry Edet who resigned yesterday from the catholic prieshood has revealed why he did so. According to reports, the priest cum gospel musician decided to resign and quit the catholic faith because he is tired of worshiping Mary instead of the true God.

Reports from sources close to his family members has it that the ex catholic priest resigned in order to marry, start a family and start his own church.

According to the concord newspapers, Rev. father Edet will soon start his own church and is about to take one of his best female choristers as a wife.

Is anything wrong in stating a ministry especially if God calls you? Do you think false prophets are written on their heads? It's difficult to detect one because the very elect are deceived this days. What make you think Catholic priests aren't false prophets?

Am sure father Mbaka will join soon then you would understand better that the catholic as a whole need to do away with many doctrines that aren't scriptural

Catholic church did not start from Nigeria and won't end in Nigeria...

Nobody is above the church...the doctrine you talked about has been there even before they were ordained a priest...

Lets face our current problem and leave fr mbaka out of this, if mbaka wanted to resign he could have done that a long time ago or he might not even become a priest in the first place...

Anybody that feels he/she has had enough is free to leave...you leave another person replaces you.
