Oluwapresley: I do appreciate your thoughts and contribution to what the OP wrote. However, i don't think the OP condemned salary earners entire, however, there are those who doesn't need to go into business if you earn 500k per month. However, because of lack of jobs, business come into play. I personally, am looking for a business to invest because with my current salary, i am not growing and cannot raise a family with it. The important thing is to take the lesson from the OP's post and work on it so as not to fall as the OP. I totally agree with you that not all should venture into business. I tried operating MerryBet but it did not go down well and the business couldn't stand. I am still studying what led to that and possibly amend things. Pls encourage people to invest and also, learn a skill. 1 Like |

deafeyez:Well said.. Work pass work, some salary earners earns above 200k per month but out of 100% maybe only 20% earns at that region, the average salary of a Nigerian graduate starts from 30-50k per month. My last place of work i earn 40k, after tax and pension has been deducted i go home with 36k, Spend #500 on transportation mon-sat and i Wil eat pay house rent and other utility bills. My write up never condemned any salary earners few of us were lucky to hv a juicy job and everyone of us can't be an entrepreneur but at the same time if u hv a well paying job today it doesn't stops u investing or has another source of income. 1 Like |

Oluwapresley:this is the simple message I am preaching to our youths since last year: YOU CAN NOT START BUSINESS WITH OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY! START by building your own capital from any job you can get immediately. Then save up capital and start.. Then you can ask others to invest or loan you money to expand. BUT you will be surprised how many of them want to listen to that! They all get business ideas and want to ask for money to "TRY" the idea... Who be mumu that will give you to try? They don't know how to try abi? NOTE THAT: TUBLEZ raised the first capital from a JOB! and also raised the second capital from a JOB! JOB is a source of capital for your dreams! It maybe slow but but it's sure and with zero interest rates if you save consistently you can start your business at zero risk as a part time business Nough-said TUBLEZ thanks for sharing.. Am motivated to keep saving... |
