1. Over 20 passports: you may might have read some write-ups online that says that as a prospective corp member, you will need over 20 passports. Well,  you don't need more than 5 passports. The chance that you will not exhaust this is high. 

2. Money: if you want to show off in camp, you will need 20-40k. However, if you are not planning to shiw off, you will enjoy your camp with just 2k

3. Meal ticket: whatever you do, don't lose your meal ticket. Not only is your food depends on it but also your allawee. However, if your are very close to your platoon official, you could obtain favor ( and that will mean that he or she     will be contradicting NYSC by-law.

Your assertions are not totally correct.
Number one: When you start documentation in the camp and after camp,you would understand better that you will need them.You might end up using the whole passports depending on your place of primary assignment.
Number 2: You don't need to show off by having 20k or 30k because it's useful for other things in the camp. Don't forget you wouldn't be feed well in the camp and most likely their meals are not sweet. You may be exposed to taking a particular meal all the time not minding the fact that the quantity is small.
