Management of The University of Lagos, Akoka yesterday, August 7, 2017, has debunked the claims making round that the institution is set to commence the 2017/2018 online screening from Wednesday, August 9th to Wednesday, August 31st, 2017.
ACCORDING TO REPORTS GATHERED BY EYES OF LAGOS, IN A CIRCULAR SENT BY THE UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT, THE INSTITUTION DESCRIBED THE TEXT MESSAGE SENT VIA SOCIAL MEDIA AS A SCAM AND CALLED ON THE PUBLIC TO ONLY VISIT THE SCHOOL’S OFFICIAL WEBSITE FOR AUTHENTIC INFORMATION.

“It has come to the notice of the University authorities that a text message is being circulated which advertised that the online registration for the 2017/2018 Screening Exercise for admission will commence from Wednesday, August 9th to Wednesday, August 31st, 2017. This is a scam. The message did not emanate from the University of Lagos. The University website is the only authentic source of information on admissions.”
The management, however, advised the members of the public to ignore this message as the University of Lagos has not commenced the 2017/2018 Admission Exercise.
