Today, on the 14th of February 2010, during another Sunday service at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations live broadcast at Emmanuel TV, a lady, called Bester came out wearing a red polo shirt, with Emmanuel TV logo on the chest. What is this? This is the shirt she is wearing during her stay in Haiti together with the Emmanuel TV Haiti Earthquake Relief Team. She introduced herself as a nurse coming from Zambia nurse living in UK.

The story started from the Sunday on which Prophet TB Joshua announced that he was going to send a team to Haiti to provide relief to the people of Haiti. After listening to the announcement, she began to question herself, what she could give or contribute. Thinking of clothes and shoes, she got a great idea to just send herself as a help for Haiti. As soon as she got the idea, she quickly sent a letter to Emmanuel TV telling them that she was a qualified nurse and midwife. Then, everything started.

In Arcehaiye, 35 minutes from Port Au Prince, Haiti, the Emmanuel TV team built a field hospital, named Clinique Emmanuel, which is claimed as the only hospital in that very area. The pastor played the video when the doctor, was stitching some people who had body injury. The Emmanuel TV has contributed some strength to help some women to deliver their babies. The team continue making themselves available knowing that whatsoever you do to the least of your fellow brother, that you do unto God. In his message, the man of God, said that looking the other way is equal to rejecting Christ Himself.

Clinique Emmanuel has been a blessing for everyone in the surrounding areas. In her testimony, she also told the congregation that the Haitian are also watching and following Emmanuel TV from the internet – that was why they were very happy when they met the Emmanuel TV Team on the way. They realise that Prophet TB Joshua wants to share pain with them. As a Christian, we must feel what others feel for we begin to succeed with our lives when the hurt and trouble of others begin to matter to you. The Haitian rejoiced knowing that the Emmanuel TV Team has come all the way long from Lagos, Nigeria.

Bester told the people that there are many people who look like Nigerian/ Ghanaian/Cameroonian. That is why she encouraged the people to give, since we are family to send their support and help, knowing that we are family – we are one. What a rare privilege indeed to be in the position of giving.

Still in her testimony, Bester explained that the team also have set a tent as the shelter for the children, where the children are also taught to speak English since they have lost their schools and parents.

Prophet TB Joshua completed the testimony by saying that we should let the hurt and troubles of others matter to us and he closed the message with a question: "What have you done to your fellow brothers?"

I was really touched by what I saw and heard during the service yesterday. TB Joshua and Emmanuel TV are really making an impact in Haiti. Whilst other pastors may send money - this relief project is really helping people to rebuild their lives. I am really immpressed with what is happenning - As the nurse said yesderday - this project is really redeeming the image of Nigeria abroad.
