Religion has been the most diversifying factor that has divided the world more than any other issue. It implies therefore that religion is so sensitive a matter as it could be and not a subject to be discussed in chronic and endearing places in the world.

On observation, it is seen that with over 5,000 religions in the world and several different methods of prayer, everyone assumes their prayers all get answered. Christians, Muslims, Buddhist, Traditionalist pray and at the end have the same result. Also worthy to note in religion is people whose life are dedicated to their beliefs and are consecrated to the service of their religions suffer similar fate as those of other religions. They live like others, get sick like others and die like others, and enjoy no preferential treatment from anyone.

If the aforementioned happen to people of all faith and beliefs, it is safe to conclude that it’s either prayers don’t get answered or there is no specifically acceptable means of prayer by the creator of the universe, God. Atheists may agree that prayers don’t get answered due to their perceived concept of religion. People of other different religious backgrounds and beliefs should also realise that their modes of worship is not autonomous, and never should it be seen as a barrier for good human relations and communication too.

Finally, it should always be remembered that only a few people really get to make the choice of religion in life, many are simply induced into the act from birth, only to grow and get alone. You could have been a Muslim if you were born up north or a Christians if it were down south or an atheist if born somewhere in Czech Republic. Love should prevail above all and extremism should jettisoned. As we gear toward technological advancement in Africa, religion shouldn’t be a setback for the actualization of a better country and continent. We should be bounded by love and love should prevail.
