It shouldn't be like that. Only those who do not stop drawing stipends from the scheme after securing another job should be punished.

Npower provide a way to leave their job anytime they(Any beneficiary) wish to do so.

Everything has a due process and not keep receiving stipend and at the same time want to also receive from another source.

To move to another job you ve to resign by following the instruction given by npower on how to do that. Npower is a full time paid volunteer job not another source of additional income.

WE MUSTN'T POLITICIZE EVERYTHING.
THIS IS A VERY GOOD GESTURE FROM THE APC GOVERNMENT AND A BIG OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR JOBLESS YOUTHS TO ESTABLISH THEMSELVES.

GOD BLESS NPOWER TEAM.

Re: N-power And Its Modern Slavery - How True? by donhils: 2:36pm On Aug 14, 2017
You can castigate the scheme all you want, but those involved in it are not really complaining and they're very happy doing it. Most of these beneficiaries have been jobless for years and now this brought a breathe of fresh air to them. And this your bvn claims are unfounded and totally wrong because there are reported cases of people working in Government offices and still taking N-Power money.

Sammyramires:
N-Power, as introduced by the Federal Government of Nigeria was said to be the antidote to ailment of Unemployment and Joblessness amongst the teeming Graduates and the Non Graduates littering the country.
However, a close observation must be made about the Terms and Conditions of this "Greek Gift'', as the narration below explains.

*A man (name withheld) who had been job-hunting many years after his National Service went to a ministry (name withheld) for an interview. Luckily for him he wowed the interviewers, and subsequently was given the job.

However, before his assumption of office he was asked to provide his account details which will be used during salary disbursement. While this was going, it was discovered that his BVN had been registered on N-Power which invariably qualifies him as a "dual salary earner'' under Treasury Single Account (TSA).
To cut the story short, he was asked to go.

Now To The Questions That Troubles Mind:

1) Is N-Power now a catalyst to one losing a better Federal Government Job in the present or nearest future because of BVN inclusion?

2) Why was the Salary not more than the meagre #30,000 when what you seek to achieve is to make the unemployed financially free without thinking of other Federal Government Job within the stipulated years of contract?

3) What will be the fate of N-Power applicants whose BVN had been registered on the site and is yet to be enlisted for service under the scheme?

I think Nigerians should henceforth ask questions before taking everything that seems juicy and less strenuous in process.

Is it that youths don't understand the rules of engagement with companies....

All company ethics and policy don't allow u work for a company and also be engaged with another.... infact some companies like bank's and some financial institutions don't even want you to have a personal business as it could stand as a conflict of interest....

This issue is even bad as when u are switching from one company to another...u need to be careful with using vacation period from the company u want to exit to go and resume with the new company with the aim of testing or trying to collect double salary for that month....some pple do it and get away with it....
But I've seen pple get caught because ur new company might try to seek reference from ur old coy...if ur old coy mistakenly make reference to ur official date of resignation and it somehow falls behind your date of resumption in ur new coy by a significant amount of weeks or months....the new HR might take u up on grounds of greed and integrity ...
It's very simple let their be an official letter or mail from u disengaging urself from ur old coy before u sign a new contract with another coy...

Anybody employed by N-Power should kiss goodbye to any other federal employment, as well as any of the grants and loan schemes for entrepreneurs such as YouWIN Connect. You probably have to resign (with three months notice or pay them back three months pay) before you can resume.
is uwinconnet real or scam

You were idle with no job, you have gone through alot, moved and littered around still no job.
Now the government came with a scheme with a pad, that will develop you, give you opportunity to add to society with a token for you and some incentives. Now you said its slavery because you won't be able to be employed in any Government work.
Why didn't you get the government work all this years?
Who forced you to apply for the job?
Why is the Nigerian youth so lazy full of complaints?
Do you want to obtain two salaries at same time?
So while you wait for a job you have not seen & May not see, you preferred to stay at home useless.
If you don't want to be slave to nobody, be creative, setup and finance yourself. Or go and learn a job/or work.
Don't be useless.
thank you sir

Please pass this information across to your friends
Below is the email and text message my sister received from some frudulent Nigerian/kidnappers at about 5am this morning. These people claimed to be working for N-Power (The Federal Government of Nigeria Youth Empowerment Program)

"Congratulations you have been succesful in qualifying for the Npower VAIDS program. Candidates are to meet on Tues 15 August at Conoil Filling station, beside gwagalada park, area 1, abuja. Free transport will be made available from here to the venue at 12pm, 12.30 or 1pm. Further details sent via email"

Pls call your family members to be very careful. I called N-Power to be told that these people are scammers. I was told the email does not originate from them.
Please post this High Alert Message on your Facebook, Instagram, twitter and (other social mediam means). Together, we can save lives of many Nigerians that will innocently or ignorantly fall into the trap of these evil and coward scammers and kidnappers.
Please do not ignore; save a life today.
