Two rampaging pigs tossed, flipped and bit a 60-year-old woman as she returned home from work.

The aggressive attack was captured on a mobile phone and shows the terrified woman laying vulnerable on the ground as the animals tore into her head and arms.

Two passing motorcyclists stopped and tried to help, although one appears to hit the housemaid with a towel rather than offering anything particularly useful.

Bibi Jan was floored by the larger hog before the second swine joins in. The animals’ were probably aggressive because they were protecting their piglets, seen running off as the footage begins.

Bibi was taken to hospital in Kavali town in Andhra Pradesh, India, where she was treated for bites on her face and arms.

It comes amid a rising tide of pig brutality in the area.

According to residents it was the third such attack that week by pigs and came shortly after a three-year-old boy was assaulted by the wild animals while the same pigs are also believed to be behind an attack on a teacher who was taken to hospital.
