In cold and choking dust, are dying dreams crying for help

Terrorism has dimmed their hope for a brighter future

The sounds of bullets and bombs have replaced their vision of learning and growing

Here they are in perpetual darkness, looking up to the world for help.


They are displaced but filled with potentials;

They are traumatized but can be rehabilitated;

With education and empowerment schemes

We can build their dreams

With our collective efforts and strength;

We can lighten up their world!


Arise O World! humanity needs our help

Together, we can build a better world;

For ourselves and posterity.
