I learnt a lesson yesterday night while chatting on FB with a fellow architect on colour selection.
Sharing of both interior and exterior colour fitness.

That's a portable estate of 2bedroom flat on 120by60.

What's your view house?

What's your view about those graphics? Even students can talk will only be corrected where needed. We are having many gurus here.

Other view of the d 5bedroom duplex. What can u see to these designs, not affordable or how do u see it?

As the topic of the thread is, there are factors to start building cheaply.
One my side here I will share some n will expect other gurus n experts to contribute theirs.

1. Land factor.

To start building cheaply u need to buy your land first, the locality u aim to build ur house some their residential place of work, villages,towns etc considering the environmental situation, the land price and other necessary factors which might be private to the clients n builders.

2. Architect factor.

To have success in erecting ur house on the piece of land u bought needs a sound,skilled,well experience architect not less than 1-2yrs in the field.
Tell him/her your whole heart how u want ur dream home to be,ask of the charges after understanding yourself well maybe online or physical.
To branch a little.
The world we are now moves faster than we could think, getting a project online n finishing it successfully then the delivery of the documents on mails or any means.
Mails preferably.
Where the online problem is is that as Nigeria issue is we find many aiming of stealing ideas or getting free plan to b developed by other architect so he/she could have less amount to pay.
I have a method I do use for online clients but unfortunately for me didn't work some weeks back.
The clients tracked me back thru is method being that am used to one method with clients.
Now,I have better method. It takes wisdom to handle insincere clients.


Another thing is,most clients might think maybe we just want to take their money away or dupe them which is not so.
As architecture is concern most architects are faithful in their projects tho unfortunate to still find some bad eggs among us all.

Let's be careful!

3. BOQ factor:

It's necessary to have the boq(bill of quantities) to be able to erect the building successfully knowing all u need to start building.
If u trust ur architect then u can commit ur project into his/her hand....

More so it's a point of contact between buyers and sellers-offeree and offeror, hence the need for such background checks which I believe will bolster confidence in your brand by all and sundry,however my advise,showcase and list some of your builds to fo people to see and draw reference from.
Well for Egun to ask such questions is not out of place becaus a lot has happened in the property section (fraud, missing of timeline etc)

This week seem too tight for me even last week only managed to get 2designs for willing clients.

The our last project is 3shops down n 3shops up, 2self con down, 2self con up n the land is tight.
The copy of the plan is at office I could have snapped the block plan,elevations etc.
