You're very right. Head to head collision is usually caused by wrong timing overtaking.

i rememba when i was going to ph & they told me that ph buses 're @ ikorodu garage. So i was so relaxed & when i got to the park around 7am, i saw only PMT there....na so i run enta BRT straight to ojuelegba. I almost no travel again that day

Stop speaking like an illiterate. Do you how many vehicles belonging to other transport companies have accidents that don't get reported? But each time peace has an accident it shows up in the news because of the impression people have thinking only Peace Mass have accidents. Peace Mass is a transport company with hundreds of vehicles on the road on daily basis so its expected to have one or two accidents from time to time.

I know that stretch of dual carriageway, tippers usually drive in the opposite direction (one way). In as much as most Peace Mass Transit bus drivers are known to be reckless, I believe the bus driver ran into the tipper driving one way...so it might not be totally his fault. I also thought the FRSC mandated speed limiters to be installed on all commercial vehicles. Perhaps the Police and FRSC can mandate personnel to apprehend trippers driving one way on that road (why is reaching alarming levels). Finally passengers should scream at the drivers if they drive recklessly. Safety is a collective decision.

Why always PMT?

I don't know why the FRSC cannot sanction or possibly ban that killer transport line.

Throughout my University days,I used to shuttle between Lagos and the east. More often than not, wherever there were auto crashes, this transport line was most likely to feature prominently. Their drivers seem not to have any safety training and how to drive defensively.

It's not enough to buy commuter buses and flood the roads, but having the requisite training, support service and safety culture to run a fleet.
Shame on the mediocre management that is running that funeral home.

Why always PMT?

Are you aware they have numerous more buses taking vast routes other transport companies don't embark? Higher number of vehicles on the highway means higher number of vehicles exposed to accidents.
