Arsenal have been drawn with BATE Borisov, Cologne and Crvena Zvezda in the Europa League, while Everton face Lyon, Atalanta and Apollon Limassol.
It was thought before the start of the draw that North London Club are not set or seem to face a fierce rival.
Early tournament favourites AC Milan will take on Austria Vienna, AEK Athens and Croatian side Rijeka in Group D.
The first tie will be played 14th of August.
