REWARD OF EMPTY ARROGANCE & HATRED.
In his desperation to rope SPBK into a phony assassination attempt, OGD stated in his petition to the IG amongst other baseless self-serving claims that;viz:
"All these I took in my strides as part of the price for participating in government and politics, including the spurious EFCC charges promoted by the current government in Ogun".
It's hoped that OGD won't allow empty arrogance and shear hatred for SPBK push him into actions that would make him ruin himself.

Now that the Ogun state govt has rightfully stopped construction works at the OGD's Abeokuta multi-storey hotel complex whose CofO had earlier been revoked for questionable circumstances of the land acquisition; the above unguided declaration as been confirmed as illusionary pretences . It is to be expected that if not for empty arrogance and self delusion, OGD is supposed to be aware that his abuse of office through the confiscation of govt land as well as the greedy takeover of the land of innocent citizens which he revoked as governor, ostensibly for public use and were later converted; callously to his private use justifiably prompted the Ogun state government to drag him before EFCC. That a prominent royal father appealed to the governor to treat his greed and corrupt acquisition with mercy shouldn't embolden him to be openly flaunting a nonexistent probity.

Now that the Ogun governor has summoned courage to do the right thing, it is hoped that OGD would dignifyingly leave eminent citizens out of need to pressurise the governor to revert to working against public interests. If he feels strongly on the right side of the law in the said land acquisition, he should now limit his reclaim efforts within the provisions of the law.

Furthermore, the much talked about EFCC case wouldn't amount to credible trial or deserving acquittal if all witnesses are intimidated out of court appearances as is seemingly being arranged to enable OGD have a soft landing. Cases of corruption should be separated from politics to grow public accountability and good governance. Also, claims of credible performance in public office should be judiciously proved without underhand litigation deals. Or else, what right is there to undeserving integrity.
