I'd just like to hear our different views on why we think people sleep in church, as opposed to other gatherings..

Some folks, immediately the preacher just mounts the podium to preach like this, they are already in dream land..

Well yes.. That would be the underlying factor..but I think the preacher and the content of what he has to offer matters as well

Some preachers can be so boring..but that doesn't warrant dosing off..

Imagine falling off your chair. Lol

When a potbellied man is there telling you the tales you have heard over and over again, you become hypnotized. Anything boring can induce sleep, even a boring noise can achieve that.
