For a country with over 160million people, virtually everything is lucrative because of diversity in needs.
What really matters is how innovative one is in presenting the biz.

Environmental resources management is not really lucrative as environmental science or environmental management.
Because, Nigeria don't manage natural resources. But you can still do it for your Bsc. and specialize in any environmental science or environmental pollution control for Msc.

Good morning OP,

The field you are looking at is a highly unexplored niche in Nigeria and West Africa, especially if you are looking at opportunities that abounds in recycling and waste management.

It depends on your goals at the end of the day, are you studying to get a degree and land a job? That route might be a tough sell.

However, if you are looking to set the trend and create opportunities for yourself and become an employer of labor, then I strongly recommend you go for it!

Take the success story of wecyclers as an example.

Wish you the best in your future endeavors.

So you would prefer he has spent many years studying, only to find out the course is a waste of time?
That's a very wrong way to live.

@Op.. If you intend getting white collar job in the field after graduation, you might as well run away from it because jobs in such areas are not easily available. However, if you're ready to establish yourself and because an industry-leading professional in the field, it's lucrative.

Well it depends on the section you want to go into.

But non is more lucrative as scavenging especially if you are in Lagos. Go to ikeja dumping ground and carry out your environmental resource management. Scavengers make an average of 6k per day
