really wana get this phone but have heard sum ppl tellin me tat u cant load credit on the fone n that i have to convert my no. to postpaid

There’s an app called “ussd
widget”
* Download it and then add the
ussd widget to your desktop.
* You can then edit it and put the
ussd string you want e.g. *123#
and anytime you click on it on
your desktop it gives you the
result.
* You need to change the string
e.g. and include the recharrge pin
when you want to recharge. found this, hope it helps

The I N900 is a nice phone and all but my advise is its not meant for the average consumer yet. I have had the phone for quite a while now and even though I truely enjoy it, it more because I am not new to maemo (having used the N810 previously) I would advise you do research the phone very well before you decide to buy it. The target of N900 are geeks, linux enthusiast and early adopters.

You also have to be warned the the testing repository is not stable and contents developmental software which might break your device. In truth I would advise that you really do your research well before getting the N900. Its a power house and a beast of a phone but its not meant for the average consumer. Its still very beta and the targets are geeks, Linux enthusiast and early adopters. The nexus one is a more consumer ready device.
