The Galaxy S9 is rumored to be the next flagship smartphone from Korean manufacturer Samsung featuring Google’s Android OS. It will be the successor to Galaxy S8 (pictured above) which was launched in March last year. According to a new report from Korea, Samsung will officially unveil Galaxy S9 in January 2018 to defend its flagship smartphone sales against Apple’s upcoming iPhone 8.

The new Galaxy S9 will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 8 Oreo OS. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s next generation Snapdragon 845 processor. Rests of the specs are still unknown but Samsung Galaxy S9 is expected to go on sale in selected markets at the start of 2018. Stay tuned for more updates.
