The implication of this is that, the current doctrines in churches today came from a very faulty reasoning, hence today Christians in Africa are so confused. They don't know what to do.
They were born into their various christian homes and were brought up by their parents to believe in these doctrines, so they see nothing wrong with what they believe.
But hear this.
The bible is not for people who cannot think or reason.
If you subject the following doctrines into meditation(thinking or reasoning) as you read your bible you will identify the errors in them. These are the doctrines :
1.The doctrine of rapture : This doctrine has been as old as the Roman catholic(even though they were saying it will happen very soon as those ancient times in the Roman empire, we are already in the 21st century still waiting because God never intended to carry people away, rather he want us to stay and replenish this world) .
it fictionally summarizes that Christians will be carried away from this earth someday in their future(the Roman empire future which our current day have exceeded)
Meanwhile God created man and saved him through Christ who swallowed death in victory so that he wil live forever here on earth ,1 Corinthians 15:54.
Scriptures misquoted by ancient theologians who never went to school in their time, to propagate this rapture fiction among Christians over the years are.
1 Thessalonians 4:16, Matthew 24:30-32 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 .

2.End time doctrine : This is another error of the ancient catholic church which states that this world will eventually come to an end, meanwhile Jesus in his parables says God's kingdom(christianity in this world) has no end(which equally to say this world has no end because Christianity is now in this world).
This endtime doctrine makes christians behave carelessly towards solving their immediate problems and taking the bold responsibility of developing themselves and their understanding capacity by going to school and creating positive impact to this world(thinking that what's the need? Afterall everything including the clouds will dissolved one day) As a result, they are into all sort of spiritual beliefs that witchcraft, juju, satan, etc are the ones responsible for their problems. So they go to church for prayers everyday and night instead of enrolling into school, but of no Vail. The next thing, they will say God is not answering their prayer.

3. Tithe and offering : This is a clear case of financial distortion and i wount say much about it. All i will say is that, if a Christian gives THE CHURCH (not church building) it right definition of holy spirit in humans, and he is conscious that his body is God's temple where he dwells, there will be no need for him to go into church buildings searching for God anymore ,where he will be scammed and distorted financially.
