Sadly, some people who claims to be muslim NEVER BELIEVE IN THE "PUNISHMENT OF THE GRAVE"... Even though it has proof in kitab wa sunnah.

I think most of us that are concious about our salat knows the proof for this. . the dua that rasul recomended for us with command to always do after ataiyah and as-alatu nabiy in the salat before tasleem. . . . the dua is about the protection from punishment of jahnamah, from punishment grave, punishment\victimization of "mahya wa mahmat" .. and victimization of false prophet. . masih dajal. . . we can now see the proof of grave punishment. . .,and grave punishment is caused by "BIDA, SHIRK, KUFRU AND SIN" . . . .

Also is the hadith in book of janaiz (funeral). . sahih bukhari .. that rasul heared 2 people being punished in the grave.... and he said those people were being punished are being punished for sins.. by letting urine splatter on your clothes\skin...(by not minding yourself when unirating) and dhulm(abosi,backbitting) respectively.... . . . .we should try as much as possible to stay away from sins. . . . although "sin" is said to be under ALLAH's will..(taatamatia) ALLAH might punish and might not punish .....but we do not know how exactly he will judge our sins..maybe with HIS mercy or HIS wasat..fairness..justice ...... wi should stay away from sins and bida. . . . BIDA,KUFRU,SHIRK is no doubt a sure punishment in grave and hereafter. . .ouip
