Nigeria Communications Commission, NCC, consumer education continues this week and this time Ekiti State is where the Ibadan Zonal Office of the NCC take their sensitization forum. At a popular market in Ekiti State known as Fayose Market where they have the GSM Village in Ado Ekiti, member of the commission alert telecom consumers and other stakeholders on the use of telecom services, cancer issues as well as the use of substandard mobile devices.

The Zonal Controller, Olubunmi Bamijoko, who lead the team told participants at the Forum to disregard information bandied around that radiation from telecom masts and mobile phones can cause cancer.
