No niche is saturated as far as internet is concerned.

If Facebook thought the advertising business has been saturated by Google, they wouldn't have ventured, now fb is rendering the most targeted ads.
If Google tot Yahoo has saturated the email business, they wouldn't have come up with Gmail. Today I rarely see a @yahoo.com mail.
If WhatsApp tot BBM owned the messaging world, they wouldn't have tried. Not sure BBM is still in any device. Telegram is making it's own moves and WhatsApp is striving not to neglect.

The web is like the world, so wide, it can't get saturated not even social networks has been saturated.
You dey talk say techblog and music is saturated niche?

I feel tech blog is not saturated.

Most of the blog we have around just focus on mobile, we have drones, laptop, robots, TV etc most tech bloggers are not venturing into this.

Op is not entirely wrong,he kept on repeating (avoid copy and paste and bring your own idea) which I believe was the reason while majority are not making it in those niches.
I only disagree where he mentioned that some niches are over saturated and should be avoided,
but applying the above bracket sentence can make you reach the zenith no matter the competition.

Some copy paste blog even rank higher than the one with the original content.

The number of Bloggers can never outweigh the readers. ..
Assuming Nigeria internet Population is 100. million, the bloggers I doubt if they are even up to 10 Million, at most they are just 1 Million or even less, you see more bloggers are needed to deliver more information to the overwhelming numbers.
Out of that 100 Million, pray to have at least 1-2 Million Visitors.
With hard work and persistence you will succeed.
