Why? What are your reasons?

Is that how UN do their interviews and employment process. No test and no physical interview.

I really doubt that UNSDN has called anybody...
But again if it is an HR role, the process for that might be different.
Also who knows what is on her CV?
Quality of education, years & quality of experience.
I still doubt it though...
UN recruitment is not like 9ja recruitment.
They don't do stuff in the closet...
So far though, no one who applied for other roles has come out to say anything.
Make we dey look fes fes )

For me, I have gotten the employment letter for UNDP for Budget officer but just decided to watch the whole processes before making further moves. If they ask me for money for anything even if is 1naira, I will just run for my life.

What position did you applied for with UNDP? was it graded General Service or National officer level. In UN recruitment process, the successful candidate is given a conditional offer of employer subject to medical and security clearance. when you are tru with these clearances, you educational qualificatons would be assessed then you would be notified with the final confirmation of appointment and you state when you want to resume with them. this is then stated in the tems of agreement for the contract, be it Fixed Term or Temporary. I hardly heard of offer being given to a new staff and being told to resume more than one month after. It is you that would choose your resumption date. so in Conclusion, i have my doubt about your claims.

I did my research, it is most likely fake.
UN's recruitment process is not so easy, there was no contact number just email communication which is very unlikely for any international recruitment.
In all, it was a well planned out scam and i am highly impressed that they put in so much effort, it was very well thought and i wonder what the end result was. I am worried because i gave them personal info but nothing else was lost.
I hope no one paid them money and i wish you all the best in your search.

UN would never give you a phone number though...
Did they ask you to bring money?

I do alot of recruitment both internationally and locally (have in mind that i dont work in Nigeria.)
It is not advisable to bring a potential staff from across the globe without any form of verbal contact, not even during the recruitment process?
Just to clarify why i think its a fraud, their emails have stopped going, all emails i sent bounced back and i had 4 email address i was contacting.
They did not ask me to pay for anything except for accommodation and they clearly stated that it was not mandatory and i can opt out of it if i am not interested. The additional cost that would have been incurred was for the medical examination which i am grateful i dint end up doing... e for pain me.
For those interested in the step by step process: i was sent the e-interview form to fill out, I submitted it, received acknowledgement email. A few weeks later i got an email with the offer letter (how convenient) and was asked to sign and submit.
I also received another email with the contract (5 years contract) breakdown of my salary(i wish), training program which was supposed to hold in 3 different months in Jan, Feb and March. Also, option to get accommodation. They sent the medical examination form which included taking some lab tests.
I submitted my details as requested i.e passport, photo, filled out a lot of forms which included H-3 form for visa for the training, even applied for visa for the country i was posted to.
My emails just dint go through anymore and no one made any effort to reach me. On this note, i hereby declare it a fraud.
So... after all this drama I did the right thing. Went to UN website and read up on their recruitment process which was far from what happened so I suggest you all apply through their website and ignore all these bogus claims from fraudulent people creating imaginary jobs for UN.
I am impressed by them though, very detailed and I wonder where they got their materials from, even handbook of over 100 pages Detailed even got the UN headquarters' post code and all

I said the same thing to someone.
That the recruitment process is very different.
Thank God you didn't part with money.
It is well...
