I haven't gotten an answer to the question as to why state universities will join ASUU strike. If the state govt has really done well as in the case of some states, should they as well have joined the national body?

Please share your thoughts

No because when the state universities are on strike the federal universities don't used to show solidarity with them. Moreover state universities are not answerable to the federal government rather to their state governments

It is not a solidarity strike per se. If I am not wrong the revitalization fund also include state universities. The state universities also share from TETfund so they are both linked in many ways.
