I have said it before and I will say it again ... Igbos are very smart people and like it or not they are among the major pillars holding this nation. Honestly I think they deserve more respect, We need to show them more respect. If no Igbo president in the next 2 elections something is wrong, how ironic if it is actually an Igbo President who will return Nigeria back to its Glory days. God bless Nigeria 1 Like 1 Share |

Nwaforchigozie: Any Igbo who does not believe in the sovereignty for Biafra is stunted in the brain. Well, there are so many people malnourished and stunted in growth since 1993 when Buhari soldiers sacked democracy and ushered in a plethora of military dictators who ran Nigeria aground. Turkey and Greece can not exist in one country; oil and water do not mix; the same thing: far-north Nigeria and Igbo are not meant to exist in one country. 1 Like 1 Share |

Nwaforchigozie: I see. It's not that TChikere does not want a sovereign state of Biafra, but he is waiting for some people, perhaps Nnamdi Kanu, or whoever to bring Biafra, perhaps through petitioning the UN, on Tchidi's behalf. How many times had Tchidi petitioned the UN for Biafra? Perhaps never. Talk of people with stunted brain cells owing to the hunger and disease ushered into Nigeria by Buhari sacking of democracy in 1983 followed by a plethora of military leaders and subsequent military democracy that grounded Nigeria till today. 1 Like |

Nwaforchigozie: Tchidi Chikere typical myopic Mbaise-Owerri guy. Why would you want Biafra when you have all development infrastructures in Imo miraculously located at your Owerri doorsteps? Imo state outside Owerri zone deteriorate. |

adidison:Presidency is NOT a GIFT given to any tribe. You work for it by building ALLIANCES and showing love to others. With igbos recent antecedents, they have been moved back to the back of the classroom. So sad that the few progressive politicians are being cursed by their own tribesmen. Okorocha is being called Okoroawusa and Joe Igbokwe (a totally detribalised igbo) is called a traitor. Unfortunately those are the only guys that I can trust amongst them because there arent emotional with their actions, they build bridges! 5 Likes |

Every prominent Igbo with reputation/livelihood at stake has denied & betrayed the Biafran cause. If I hear any of you IPOB miscreants sing that your four-decade-old "Yoruba is cowardly & treacherous" anthem, Sango will surely strike the person dead within the hour! 1 Like 1 Share |

sureheaven: I doubt, something that started long before Buhari took over (Radio BIafra was around as early as 2009)......and was even active during GEJ's regime...with some pro biafraists saying that even if an Igbo president takes over, they will still campaign for BIafra. There are people who will back Biafra, even if their brother or sister becomes presido tomorrow. And I say this as an anti-secession guy. In many countries of the world, there are secessionist movements. Even Zambia has one, to give an example. |

sekem: The critical point is that there are lots of stakeholders in the affairs of SE. Mind you there's oil in that region & you don't expect the big players to throw in the towel without a fight. There are lots of external influence & they will rather support the 'order'/system that puts food on their table. NK, IPOB or Biafra is a storm in a tea cup in the eyes of the 'forces' - I mean the shackles holding the SE bound. Let me blow your mind, SE is in bondage & it will take a mightier hand to compel the forces to let go. Lastly, power is never given, it is taken! |

hatchy: I pray they do now, lots of people don't hate the Igbos , they're only scared of their perceived and presumed con nature. We can't blame them. You cannot Spill curses, hatred, abuses on other tribes and still expect them to reason nicely towards your struggle. Even though I'm from Igbo I've received my fair share of the IPOB hates here on Nairaland, they'll even call you Afonja or insinuate that you ain't pure blood. I pray they really define their demands and chant the right words. Two wrongs can never make a right. 1 Like |
