CP Anthony Ogbizi, the new commissioner of Abia State Police has seriously warned that anybody found with the Biafra flag will be arrested.

Mr Ogbizi further stated that anyone seen with the Biafra emblem will be arrested and charged to court. He made this statement while parading seven suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra.

He said it has become illegal for anyone to operate under the IPOB which was declared a terrorist organization by the Nigerian military or adorn its emblems.

The police commissioner also disclosed that one of the injured officers, an assistant superintendent of police has died from injuries sustained during the crisis between suspected IPOB members and security operatives in Ariaria police state, Aba.
