The Academic Staff Union of Universities has said it would announce its position on the strike action in a few hours time . The ASUU President , Prof Biodun Ogunyemi, stated this in Abuja at about 8 . 30 pm on Monday , after concluding the final meeting with the Federal Government delegation . The delegation was led by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige . The ASUU is presently holding its final briefing to decide on the strike . Sources told our correspondent that there are very strong indications that the union would call off the strike . Details later. |
