ASUU STRIKE UPDATE SEPTEMBER 18TH 2017

The Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU has today, 18th September 2017 announced a conditional suspension of its strike action .

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has announced a conditional suspension of its nationwide strike.
The union announced the suspension at the end of a meeting with top government officials in Abuja on Monday.
ASUU declared a nationwide strike on August 13, citing the failure of the government to implement the 2009 agreement it reached with the union.
